At EPC Network, we’re not just a digital marketing company;
we’re a platform for career transformation and personal growth. Our people-first approach shapes our corporate culture, fostering a team of passionate, smart, and energetic individuals who strive to grow professionally in an international, fast-paced environment.
We operate an automation-first newsletter publishing operation across a large portfolio of media brands. While most workflows are automated, quality, platform stability, and account hygiene still require disciplined human QA — especially at scale.
We’re now looking for a QA & Platform Ops Specialist to help ensure every send is clean, compliant, and safe.
Job Description
As a QA & Platform Ops Specialist (Newsletters) , you’ll be responsible for operational QA , not simple proofreading.
Your mission is to detect defects early, assess severity correctly, and escalate issues with clear evidence — before they cause complaints, churn, revenue loss, or platform risk.
You’ll work inside an automation-first pipeline where many checks are pre-validated by systems. Your role is to review flagged cases, catch critical misses, and protect account health across multiple publishing platforms. This role requires speed, precision, security discipline, and strong operational judgment .
Key Responsibilities
Pre-send Newsletter QA (Core)
Review scheduled newsletters and catch issues that can cause complaints, churn, or revenue loss
Validate layout and formatting (desktop & mobile)
Detect broken links, wrong URLs, missing tracking parameters (when applicable)
Identify missing or broken images
Catch duplicated blocks, generation artifacts, or corrupted sections
Spot obvious AI failure patterns (nonsense lines, stray HTML, malformed content)
Ensure scannability and readability, especially on mobile
Perform basic compliance sanity checks according to internal standards
Cross-client Rendering Checks (When Required)
Validate rendering across common environments:
Gmail (web & mobile)
Apple Mail (macOS & iOS)
Outlook (desktop & mobile)
Check both Light and Dark modes for high-risk templates or new publications
Use internal tools and/or email preview/testing services when provided
Account Health QA (Beehiiv & Other Platforms)
Perform routine checks to ensure publishing accounts remain stable:
Billing status and payment method connectivity
Publication settings affecting sending (from name, reply-to, domains)
Warning banners, restriction notices, or compliance flags
Basic deliverability signals (when visible)
Confirm critical configurations remain unchanged after updates
Log issues, capture evidence, and escalate — never fix silently
Environment Integrity & Session Isolation (Critical)
Execute all QA work inside strictly isolated browser environments
Use multi-profile tools (e.G. MultiLogin, GoLogin, Octo Browser) correctly and consistently
Verify correct IP / proxy settings before accessing any publication backend
Enforce Clean Room protocols to ensure zero cross-contamination between brands
Defect Reporting & Escalation
Classify issues using a simple severity model (P0 / P1 / P2)
Provide clear evidence: what happened, where, and how to reproduce
Escalate quickly to the correct owner (Ops, Support, Automation, Engineering)
Track resolution and confirm fixes
QA Process & Automation Improvement
Suggest new automated checks to reduce manual workload
Help refine QA checklists, acceptance criteria, and playbooks
Contribute to weekly QA learnings to reduce defect trends over time
