Technologies-expected : Azure Python Spark Databricks Delta Lake Fast API about-project : We are building the next generation of Data Platform for Asset Management. We build, operate and support tools and services dedicated to store, transform, and distribute data related to several use-cases: Responsible Investment, Quantitative Research, Referential Data Management, Data Science and trading. You will join the Data Platform team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and running cloud-native data solutions. Team members will be either integrating a team of 4 to 6 experienced data engineers or an engineering/data science squad that use the platform daily to service business needs on specialized use cases. responsibilities : Implement business use cases and processes to the Azure Cloud, using state-of-the art technologies (Databricks, Spark 3, Python) Onboard business teams directly on the new Data Platform Gather engineering requirements for data use cases Develop and maintain shared libraries (data pipeline development, data lineage) Participate to the data onboarding of third-party data providers (e.g. Bloomberg, Simcorp) Expose data via APIs requirements-expected : Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in working with ETL/ELT data and processes (as a python developer or data engineer) Good knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and Py Spark (preferable on Databricks) Good knowledge of Python Experience in backend development in Python (e.g. project structure standards, building packages) Experience in working with various data formats (csv, json, Parquet, Delta) Familiarity with Azure services (e.g. Databricks, Storage, Key Vault) Familiarity with software engineering principles Practice in using Git and familiarity with CI/CD concepts Team spirit Fluent English Good relationship and capacity to interact directly with client offered : Opportunity to work in international financial organization Autonomy Stable, long term assignment Flexible working hours and home office (hybrid work) Work in a good atmosphere, supportive teams, among employees who are willing to share their knowledge, among others as part of internal development initiatives benefits : sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care sharing the costs of foreign language classes sharing the costs of professional training & courses life insurance remote work opportunities flexible working time fruits integration events corporate gym corporate sports team preferential loans no dress code video games at work coffee / tea parking space for employees leisure zone sharing the costs of tickets to the movies, theater christmas gifts employee referral program
