We are looking for an engineer who will be a part of Silvair’s Engineering Team developing "Silvair Platform" - that is cloud infrastructure, services, appliances and web applications designed to make mesh network management easy, fast and reliable.
You will work with up-to-date technologies/concepts such as microservices, JavaScript, Python, Open API, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, AWS, Git, Terraform, Jenkins.
You will have a chance to work with Silvair’s top specialists to develop and maintain robust smart lighting solutions that are rapidly gaining momentum in the IoT and smart building industry.
Location: 20% on-site, 80% remotely
responsibilities :
Participation in the design of new products and functions in collaboration with the team
Development of new features and functionalities in existing products, covering everything from application logic to communication layers
Performing code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
Manual testing of implemented features and creation of automated tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions
Maintenance and refactoring of the existing codebase to ensure stability and performance
Contribution to tuning and improving the software development process
requirements-expected :
Solid experience (3+ years) with Python and Pytest
Practical experience with asynchronous programming in Python
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and familiarity with event-driven architectures
Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis in production environments
Operational experience with Docker and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog
Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with a focus on architecture and minimizing technical debt
Self-reliance in everyday work, strong communication skills, and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams
