Project scope

As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for developing containerized applications that run on hundreds of edge devices. You will design and implement the architecture for microservices, ensuring secure communication between them and other on-premises edge services. Additionally, you’ll build a robust release and deployment process to keep everything running smoothly. Finally, you’ll establish a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system for deployed solutions.

‍♂Project Challenges

- Develop and maintain components for microservices running in edge environments

- Streamline application onboarding, deployment, and patching processes

- Design and implement scalable, high-quality code and architectures across cloud and edge environments

- Enhance monitoring, reliability, and stability of deployed solutions, including automated testing suites and simulation environments for edge devices

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experiences through innovative technologies

Team

2x Python Engineers, 3x DevOps Engineers, and a Product Manager on the Customer side. The Engineering Team is distributed in Poland while the broader team is distributed in Poland, the United Kingdom and India.

What we expect in general

• Strong experience with writing framework-grade Python code
• Strong experience with docker, docker-compose and orchestrating deployments at scale.
• Knowledge about Azure
• Knowledge about CI/CD and a good understanding of the various tools for Integration and deployments to hundreds of edge devices.
• Ability to discuss requirements and readiness to challenge the status quo
• Good command of English (B2 / C1)
• Availability to work in Kraków in the future (hybrid model)
