about-project :

  • We are a team of researchers and engineers dedicated to creating interfaces that enhance scientists understanding of data. The rise of high-throughput techniques for genomic profiling, compound screening, and rapid image collection has resulted in vast datasets that provide insights into the root causes of diseases and potential treatments. However, converting these large volumes of data into actionable insights for identifying drug targets and candidates remains a significant challenge. The scale of the data demands improved methodologies for querying, exploring, and analyzing it. Additionally, the high dimensionality of these datasets necessitates the integration of various data types for comprehensive interpretation.
  • We fuse our enthusiasm for visualization, information processing, and user-centric design with our expertise in data manipulation to uncover scientific insights, complemented by the engineering capabilities to actualize this vision. By collaborating closely with disease area experts, we develop intuitive tools that facilitate the exploration and interpretation of extensive, diverse datasets and analyses. We also innovate and disseminate new visualization and interaction techniques for data. In this role, you will spearhead backend engineering design and development to ensure efficient access to large datasets within interactive visualization applications.
