We are looking for a candidate that would support the Poland office in building and developing software products and solutions through a combination of new and existing technology & data. The successful applicant will join a team responsible for increasing the efficiency of our working environment and making our processes leaner in order to deliver projects in a more innovative and digital way. It is a fantastic opportunity to build something "from scratch" and have a real influence on the work of our engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop app/software/scripts that would enhance project delivery, data usage and communication between existing and new software (i.e. data capture and process automation – imports directly from vendors to datasheets, calculation tools, etc.)
  • Take part in global initiatives to design, develop and execute software solutions to address business needs (workflows, libraries, database)
  • Collaborate with project teams and PMs to determine best practices, possible improvements to project delivery processes and automation of tools
  • Support less experienced members of the team
  • Help develop and maintain documentation for tools and software
  • Establish testing criteria for software development needs
  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings
  • Help in showcases, product presentations, and meetings with different customers and stakeholders

Heres what youll need:

  • Around 3 years of hands-on development experience in an Agile environment, primarily using Python
  • Experience with some or a combination of the following frameworks: Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF)
  • Experience with the following libraries: PyTest, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Experience working with external APIs
  • Proficiency in using openpyxl for Excel file manipulation
  • Proficiency in managing data held in a database (ORM)
  • Experience in testing and analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and implementing plans to improve them
  • Proficiency with source control (e.g., Git)
  • Some experience in using modern ML technology
  • Awareness of current best practices in software development

Also welcomed:

  • Familiarity with BIM environment
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as MS Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Familiarity with CI/CD
  • Experience in integration tests
