The bank serves over 17 million clients worldwide, employs more than 86,000 people, and offers a broad range of services including personal and commercial banking, wealth management, insurance, investor services, and capital markets products. Within this engagement, we are part of the structured rates products team, responsible for developing analytics services that support the pricing and initial valuation of financial instruments used across the bank’s systems and web-based applications. The solution is built using a microservices architecture, with communication handled via the Solace messaging system (pub/sub architecture). All microservices are deployed on the bank’s own Kubernetes cluster and are used by traders for the initial valuation of financial products before they are traded. Implement new features, optimize existing functionality, and fix bugs.
