YOUR TEAM:

We change the world using technology, providing software that you use when driving a car, crossing borders safely in Europe or receiving a shipment of clothes from your favorite brand. YOUR TASKS:

• Develop clean, scalable Python code for back-end systems, user integration, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to design and implement features.
• Identify and resolve software defects, write unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups and sprint planning.

YOUR PROFILE:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles to design maintainable and reusable software architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Django or Flask is essential. Knowledge of SQLAlchemy for ORM (Object Relational Mapping) is highly desirable. Familiarity with FastAPI or Tkinter is a bonus.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts to handle I/O-bound tasks efficiently.
• Experience with databases.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. Ability to write complex SQL queries is required.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum practices to ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Proficiency with Git, including a deep understanding of Gitflow workflows.
• Willingness to learn or existing experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of English on at least B2 level; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Eager to adopt new technologies and embrace technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Dedicated to building and contributing to a Center of Excellence for AI development, driving innovation and promoting best practices across the organization.
