We are seeking a Python Developer position based in our Poznań location to join the R&D team.

Your future team:

You will join our “Factory of the Future” team of specialists within Group R&D. We are a team of passionate, skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop & implement the newest technologies for stone wool production. The “Factory of the Future” team is recently established with the aim of upgrading our production facilities with best in class OT & IT Solutions.

We’re currently building Data Science Team and you would be a part of it.

What you will be doing:

• Support software development processes and AI solutions in the area of production
• Support production automation and digitalization utilizing AI solutions
• Support R&D Solution Architect in software development lifecycle (data access, business logic and UI definition), writing and performing unit tests
• Test and document (if required to help the team achieve sprint goals)
• Solve software issues
• Help to develop/maintain the DevOps culture in the organization

What you bring:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering preferably for production Industry
• Prior experience working on data/event driven projects (Kafka stream processing)
• Understanding of IT/OT convergence
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, etc.)
• Expertise in machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, etc.)
• Ability to optimize and fine-tune machine learning models
• Excellent understanding of model evaluation metrics

Tools and Technologies:

• Version control systems (git)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
