Purchasing Specialist

Your responsibilities

• timely execution of orders from suppliers - ongoing communication, verification of timely deliveries and attention to the quality of raw materials.
• negotiating and monitoring purchase prices from suppliers of materials and components
• supervision over maintaining the optimal level of warehouse stocks
• participation in complaint processes related to deliveries
• active participation in the development of purchasing plans and control of the implementation of the purchasing strategy.
• cooperation with the Quality Department in the field of input control of raw materials and components
• active search for new suppliers of raw materials and components
• creating requests for quotation and their ongoing analysis
• planning and control of deliveries in terms of time and quantity

Our requirements

• communicative knowledge of English - a necessary condition
• min. 2 years of experience working in a similar position
• ability to think analytically
• carrying out activities to reduce purchasing costs (savings projects),
• high organizational skills
• negotiation skills
• ability to coordinate orders and cooperate with other departments
• very good computer skills
• experience in working in an ERP/MRP system is welcome, knowledge of the SAP program will be an additional advantage
• communication skills, high personal culture
• willingness to work and learn
• knowledge of the plastics market will be an additional advantage
