Job Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to overall SCM strategy and propose a plan for a purchasing strategy and implement it.
2. Lead the purchasing department to ensure cost-effective operative materials in the right quantities, at the right quality, at the right time, and at the right place in the factory.
3. Continuously develop and maintain the purchasing organization (processes, systems (SAP), and employees (skills)) to improve competencies and performance.
4. Build, maintain, and actively develop relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
5. Actively monitor and manage purchasing orders.
6. Supervise the timely delivery and proper inventory along the value chain.
7. Steer, monitor, and report on supply chain KPIs.
8. Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with GEA standards and comply with laws and regulations.
9. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
10. Manage and motivate the purchasing team.
11. Follow market trends, identifying opportunities and risks.
12. Engage in close exchange and compliance with the strategic purchasing department.

Your Profile / Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
2. Hands-on experience in purchasing, implementation of purchasing processes, and building relationships with suppliers.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence.
4. Negotiation skills.
5. Leadership skills (ability to motivate a team, delegate, supervise task realization).
6. Very good analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
