Job Description
As the Content QA Lead in the Publishing QA department, you will build and manage a team of QA Analysts specializing in Narrative, Art, and Gameplay QA, ensuring the quality and consistency of all game content. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting risk analyses, overseeing QA milestones, and driving continuous improvement. Your leadership will be essential to maintaining content integrity and delivering an outstanding player experience.
Daily Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a cohesive team of Narrative, Art, and Gameplay QA Analysts. Provide feedback, guidance, and professional growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong communication and relationships with external partners involved in multiple projects, ensuring alignment on quality standards and deliverables.
- Oversee and drive the QA process across content areas, ensuring narrative elements, art assets, and gameplay features are thoroughly tested.
- Partner with designers, developers, and project managers to align on quality standards and expectations, acting as a bridge between QA and other departments.
- Conduct risk analysis, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure timely milestone verification for content-related releases.
- Continuously optimize QA processes and foster a learning culture. Actively participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
- Maintain transparency on QA status, risks, and opportunities, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within game development, ideally with a focus on content QA (Narrative, Art, Gameplay).
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies with a focus on quality standards for narrative, art, and gameplay content.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in risk analysis and mitigation for content.
- Passion for delivering high-quality player experiences through exceptional content QA.
Nice to have

- Experience with AAA games or large publishing projects.
- Familiarity with tools and software in content QA, including automation where relevant.
- Basic knowledge in various commercial game engines.
Additional Information
Working mode
- Office-First: working primarily from our Warsaw, Cracow or Wroclaw studio for a minimum of 3 days per week.
