The portfolio of more than 2,000 teaching methods consisting of thousands of individual publications across seven European countries is our key asset. To manage it in an increasingly data-based and cooperative way, we are looking for a Publishing Analyst to join the Strategy team at Sanoma Learning.

Key Accountabilities

• Efficiently collects, sanitizes and harmonizes data, making sure it is consistent and complete;
• Analyses Publishing data to derive actionable insights and presents them in dashboards;
• Maintains Publishing (including Stage-Gate) documentation in good order so that it is easy and efficient to use by all stakeholders;
• Builds deep understanding of Sanoma Learning’s Publishing portfolio and conceptual frameworks needed to analyse and manage it, including the needed terminology and taxonomy.

Key Requirements

• Passionate about publishing, books, education;
• Has an instinct for ordering things, and therefore derives satisfaction from building taxonomies, categorizing and structuring information;
• Has meticulous attention to detail that can be always trusted;
• Experience with Power BI for report creation and maintenance – or willingness to learn it quickly with the support of experienced colleagues;
• Experience with Sharepoint / Teams / Office 365 for managing and storing documentation – or willingness to learn it quickly with the support of experienced colleagues;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience;
• Not a prerequisite but will be an advantage:
  • Proficiency in connecting Power BI to various data sources;
  • Experience in creating data-driven PowerPoint visuals;
  • Prior experience in education and/or publishing businesses;
  • Knowledge of other languages from our footprint (Spanish, Italian, Polish, French, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish).
