Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of emerging policy trends and legislative developments in the eCommerce policy space.
• Provide insights and advice to internal stakeholders on the potential implications for TikTok’s business and operations.
• Lead on the development of public policy positions and advocacy campaigns in Poland and CEE region, aligned with the business strategy.
• Build world class relationships with relevant stakeholders, including policy makers, legislators and business associations, to help achieve public policy goals in the areas of e-commerce and consumer policy.
• Manage relationships with agencies and relevant trade associations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Substantial experience working in public policy and advocacy work in the region, and a strong understanding of what makes effective government relations and public policy strategies successful.
>Deep understanding of legislative, public policy and regulatory issues affecting e-commerce / online marketplaces / consumer policy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English (working language of the company) and Polish (to operate in the market).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong research, analysis, and project management abilities.
• Motivation to learn and grow, as well as motivate and inspire others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public speaking experience.
• Demonstrated interest and/or experience working in a tech environment or e-commerce sectors.
