About the Role

Jacobs is a global engineering firm committed to solving critical problems for cities, environments, and industries. This position is part of our Polish Design Center located in Kraków and Warsaw, collaborating on projects both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in design processes as an independent specialist or team leader.
• Collaboration with engineers in Poland and abroad.
• Preparation of technical documentation, drawings, descriptions, and material listings.
• Contribution to the development of 3‑D electrical installation models in a BIM environment.
• Verification and validation of designs against client specifications and relevant standards.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
• Preparation of calculation reports for lighting and electrical installations using dedicated software (Dialux, SKM, EasyPower, Etap, Amtech).

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in electrical engineering, energy, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with BIM tools, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, Dialux, and electrical calculation software.
• Strong teamwork skills, independence, and good time‑management abilities.

Desired

• Building permits for electrical design.
• Knowledge of international standards, regulations, and design guidelines.
