CSS Project Specialist, Implementations - Projects - Change Management Remote
The CSS IPCM Project Specialist is accountable for delivering different types of projects involving (but not limited to) customer implementations and changes, as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes. The position’s primary role is to deliver projects with a low complexity, measured by the scale and scope of the request. Complexity is determined by the IPCM Management team when assigning the request based on information gathered from the vetting.
Responsibilities
- Plan projects according to the defined scope.
- Confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope.
- Leverage regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects.
- Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants (internal/external).
- Facilitate and drive decision‑making and escalation concerning the projects assigned.
- Manage project risks and maintain project plan updates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading low‑complexity projects in travel management operations.
- Well versed in CSS processes and procedures, reporting capabilities, and have a good background in CSS systems.
- Good understanding of client reporting requirements and data flows, agency operations’ end‑to‑end processes, and resource and peer collaboration across functional teams.
- Good communication skills (written and oral) in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under the stress of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to facilitate and resolve risks, issues, and showstoppers.
- Experience using project management software and GDS is a plus.
- Must be reliable and be flexible with working hours based on the needs of the projects.
