Job Description
Project Senior Specialist, Product Change (Toblerone, WTR) – within Mondelēz International’s organizational structure, this role is responsible for project managing business change initiatives such as product innovation, pack change, quality improvement and limited editions from initiation through launch.
Will interface extensively with Consumer Marketing, Customer Development/Business Planning, Finance, RD&Q, Quality, Legal, Consumer Insights and all functions within Global Supply Chain (Procurement, Artwork Agency, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Logistics) to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.
Responsibilities
- Project planning: facilitate definition of project scopes, goals, tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements.
- Cross‑functional project team management, identifying and engaging cross‑functional representatives to form a delivery team.
- Monitor project progress and provide corrective action if necessary.
- Maintain project documentation and report status, key timings, issues and risks.
- Maintain quality communication with all functions, including raising project profile through representation at senior forums.
- Ensure suitable risk assessment and contingency planning to keep the project on track, accelerate or stop the project when needed.
- Ensure scopes and timing consider minimising waste (raw, pack write‑offs) and unwanted complexity (existing asset platforms, SKU proliferation).
- Ensure correct Product Labeling Specifications (PLS) handling, artwork process coordination and co‑packing handling.
Qualifications
- Project Management experience and knowledge, preferably with New Product Launches or Product Change.
- Working knowledge of supply chain and basic supply chain principles.
- Degree level or equivalent; Project Management qualification an advantage.
- FMCG experience is a benefit.
- Strong meeting management, facilitation and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strong initiative to problem solving, framing alternative solutions and driving delivery.
- Process oriented – ability to monitor, measure, report.
- High proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
- Experience or eagerness to develop in team management considered a plus.
