As a Project Manager in Technology Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale infrastructure projects globally. You will manage the implementation, upgrade, or migration of IT systems, networks, hardware, and cloud services, collaborating with internal teams and 3rd-party vendors. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering effective communication across stakeholders.
responsibilities :
Feasibility & Initiation
Work to define project approach and scope, liaise with business to build requirements and feasibility
Help capture and clarify requirements so that 3rd party can scope the project
Creation of the Project Initiation Documentation
Planning & Development
Resource planning of the project – ensure 3rd parties have sufficient resource available
Complete project documentation such as PID, Project plan
Testing
Creation of Test plans and instructions to include the gathering of testers
Co-ordinate test activities and collate results
Presenting test results to project team/stakeholders
Implement
Response handling – dealing with questions/concerns/requests raised following issuance of communications
Successfully implement project for go live
Close
Ensuring sufficient Support/Service Wrap and transition to BAU
Post go live support to monitor and resolve issues post live via tech projects email box
Ensure solution hand over to BAU support for ongoing support and maintenance/support processes
Contribution to project Lessons Learnt
End to End Project Lifecycle/Additional Tasks
AMS point of contact for 3rd party and end users via tech projects email
Ensure any identified project risks and issues are escalated via appropriate and documented route
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and AMS business functions
Abiding by PMO by adhering to their process i.e. Change control

Passion for technology and Technology acumen with experience in working in a project environment
Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects across a global, distributed team environment
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (specifically waterfall)
Ability to work independently and drive projects and activities without direct supervision
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with an ability to adapt to changing environments
Proven ability to manage complex projects, balancing scope, resources, and timelines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, technical teams, and external vendors
