Job Description:

Want to make a positive impact on the environment? Sunly is an Independent Power Producer with a mission to ensure the availability of clean energy in the Baltics and Poland. We develop renewable energy projects and energy storage solutions, and we invest in startups in the electrification sector.

We are seeking a Project Manager to take full ownership and primary responsibility for the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy projects, including solar (PV), wind, and BESS. This role will focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for project execution, including meeting timeline, budget, and quality goals.
• Leading projects through the planning and development cycles up to building permission and RtB status.
• Managing risks by proactively addressing potential project issues and ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed schedules for each project, monitoring progress, and regularly reporting on status and potential risks.
• Coordinating and securing all required administrative decisions, agreements, and building permits for the assigned projects.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with local government units, ensuring smooth cooperation to obtain necessary permits.
• Leading the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Engaging directly with landowners on key projects, resolving concerns, and ensuring their alignment with project goals.
• Coordinating community consultations to secure support and address any concerns during project development.
• Acting as the key point of contact and ensuring effective collaboration with investors, designers, subcontractors, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, preferably in the RES industry, with a focus on wind and PV farm development.
• Proven ability to independently secure permits and handle administrative decisions.
• Strong understanding of project documentation, building permits (PnB), and development conditions (WZ).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of QGIS and construction law.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Independent, well-organized, flexible, and willing to travel.
• Preferred education: degree in Project Management, Spatial Management, Environmental Protection, Energy, or a related field.
