Your Tasks - What You can expect as Project Manager On-Site-Consulting:

• As a project manager, you will support our customers on site with operational process consulting to increase efficiency and reduce costs. This includes technical and organizational optimization potential along the entire value chain. The focus is on ink and pressroom management and ink stock management.
• By increasing performance as well as efficiency and reducing waste, you optimize our customers operational processes and are a trustworthy contact person for all questions that arise.
• You will analyze the current situation with the help of lean management and analysis tools to record processes in ink preparation and on the printing press.
• Together with the customer team, you will develop concrete measures to optimize processes and support the customer in their introduction and sustainable implementation.
• You will document working methods and processes, define and monitor the necessary key performance indicators as required and use the tools of the lean methodology to check the effectiveness of measures and the achievement of targets and adjust them if necessary.
• You support the customer in the conversion of color systems.
• If required, you will develop customized in-house solutions for the deployment of Siegwerk employees in the customers day-to-day business.

Your Profile - What do You bring as Project Manager On-Site-Consulting?

• You have a degree in printing / printing technology (master craftsman / technician / engineer or similar) and have several years of relevant experience in the printing industry and/or in color preparation.
• You are familiar with operational processes in color preparation, colorimetry and on the printing press and know the gravure and/or flexographic printing processes.
• You have extensive knowledge of project and process management and continuous improvement methods (Lean Management, Lean Sigma, CIP, Operational Excellence).
• You have strong analytical skills, presentation skills and a clear service and practical orientation.
• You enjoy getting to know different countries, cultures and customers personally and feel comfortable both in the pressroom / on the press and in meetings with management.
• You are determined, independent, a strong communicator (in Polish and English) and can convince others of your ideas with the necessary tact and sensitivity.
• You are willing to travel regularly (approx. 50%).
