Project Manager - Global Payroll Systems

For our Client we are looking for experienced Global Payroll Manager.
- Location: 100% remote work (you must be located in Poland)
- Rate: 180-220 PLN/h net (+ VAT)
- Contract type: B2B via Hays Poland
- Start date: 11.2024 / 12.2024
- Scope of duties: project management in the area of Payroll and HR (global cooperation)
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management in operations, HR and payroll area
- Experience in managing large-scale international projects (global or EMEA)
- Experience in working with C-level business and stakeholders in different time zones and locations
- Advanced knowledge of English - minimum C1 level
- Availability from November/December 2024
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with C-Suite executives.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills to complete tasks within required time frames and respond effectively under pressure.
- Intermediate proficiency in common Microsoft applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of payroll-related project management tasks across the APAC and EMEA regions.
- Develop and manage a continuous improvement roadmap to maximize technology use, centralize delivery models, and evaluate outsourcing opportunities.
- Create and monitor project plans for internal responsibilities and workstreams, ensuring alignment with vendor project plans through collaboration with support teams (Change/Comms, Finance, HRIT).
- Maintain and update the ongoing project plan, preparing status reports for workstreams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to communicate project updates to key stakeholders and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
- Organize and lead weekly Payroll Team meetings to review status updates, manage issue logs, and track risks and mitigation plans.
- Attend and present workstream status updates at monthly steering committee meetings.
- Participate in ad hoc project meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule country-specific Payroll SME meetings for requirements and design discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop business cases and project financials, representing these in board meetings and following up on any suggested changes or amendments.
- Track progress on business case approvals and contracts to ensure project success.
- Serve as the single point of contact for any project-related updates within the remit.
- Maintain all payroll vendor contracts in the region, ensuring timely renewals.
- Track project financials and invoices according to contract schedules and project stage gates, aligning with global and local accounting practices.
- Demonstrate proven project management experience with a track record of managing complex global projects.
