Winthrop specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, offering services from design through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical services, as well as commissioning.

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries , equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight .

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budgets
2. Manage Sub Contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants
3. Analyse, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip
4. Review construction proposals and related pricing & scopes
5. Run and lead client & other required meetings
6. Monitor & identify factors that influence construction costs to create reports on this data
7. Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment
8. Review, validate, and audit cost estimates prepared by sub-contractors and others within a client’s organization
9. Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction
10. Track and ensure equipment is met as per the project schedule
11. Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project
12. Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments
13. Oversee and manage the transfer of the construction to the client including all close-out documentation and warranties

Minimum Requirements

1. 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is essential
2. Data Centre experience is advantageous
3. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
4. Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
