Responsibilities
- Delivering a project to plan and delighting the client
- Contract conditions reviewing, negotiations and implementation
- Liaison with subcontractors/suppliers, other parties in particularly: participation in selection process, participation in preparation of contract, negotiations, coordination during delivery
- Active participation in business development activities such as participation in Client meetings, preparation of price estimates, preparation of proposals
- Securing, assigning and maintaining a project delivery team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver the project
- Ensuring the project delivery in accordance with internal company policies, procedures, guidelines, workflows and company strategy
- Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, client procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring that project risks and opportunities are identified, mitigated and managed
- Delivering cash flow target and (GM) margin as-booked or better
- Effectively managing change
- Supporting the growth of next generation and junior PM and Project Control staff
- Creating a positive project team working environment
- Promote a culture whereby the principles of Jacobs BeyondZero, values & business ethics are embedded in our teams and recognized by our clients
Here’s what you’ll need
- Education degree, in engineering or a related subject, chartered or equivalent would be beneficial
- Preferable +8 years of relevant project experience within engineering/construction projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish
- Experience of managing a multi discipline project
- Good understanding of project planning, including scope management, estimating and scheduling
- Good understanding of cost control, schedule adherence, risk management and change management
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively on project financial issues, margin, profit appraisals
- Good understanding of the need for quality within the project environment
- Proactive and adaptable approach suited to the diverse and challenging nature of the business
- Understanding of the legal, tendering and contract process to support the success of the business
- Ability to effectively form and lead project teams and motivate staff (great communication and building relationship skills)
- Ability to participate in and influence commercial decision making

- Full-time employment contract with salary corresponding to qualifications
- The possibility of working in the office or in a hybrid model (2 days a week in the office, the rest from home)
