What you’ll be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Lead end-to-end management of corporate strategic projects from scoping to closure; define objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Working closely with members of the legal teams globally to align projects with legal and governance requirements
- Leading highly complex, time-sensitive, and confidential projects that are essential to the division’s success.
- Operating in a high-visibility, cross-border role, coordinating with senior executives around the world.
- Applying a working knowledge of corporate legal concepts to perform basic corporate legal tasks and interact with outside counsel under the supervision of a qualified attorney

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Project Manager with significant experience on similar role
- Relevant degree preferred
- Gravitas to work with senior management and executives, on a global basis.
- Ability to manage and influence a large number of other AXA XL employees across a range of cross-functional inputs and at various levels of seniority.
- Excellent communication skills, articulate presenter to internal and external audiences alike.
- Ability to identify key issues and roadblocks leading to efficient working practices and outcomes, and ability to plan strategies to mitigate any threats to the project.
- Ability to interact and work with internal and external legal counsel to effect transactions.
- Ability to work on strategic, time sensitive projects is essential.
Additional Skills (Preferred; not mandatory):
- Experienced and influential in significant corporate transactional transversal projects.
- Have working knowledge and practical experience of functional inputs such as legal, compliance, finance, tax and corporate secretarial that often support corporate programs.
- Understanding and working knowledge of corporate legal concepts
- Ability to perform basic corporate legal tasks and interact with outside counsel (while under the supervision of a qualified attorney)
- Working and practical knowledge of international insurance markets (including US, EU, Bermuda and Lloyd’s of London).
