Your future team:

Group Technology (GT) is part of the main ROCKWOOL organization, comprising departments that create and deliver machines, production equipment, and entire production lines for our international sites.

Joining GT, you will be part of our Hot End, Fluids, Waste & Abatement department. We are 36 skilled engineers with backgrounds in mechanical design and project management. We are a highly committed team that supports each other both in the office and on-site at factories worldwide.

Here, you will manage large-scale projects from inception to completion, focusing on the development of production equipment in a growing, green, global company.

This is who you will work with:

Our team is diverse, with several nationalities, working across different sites. We are an international but close-knit team. If you need help or want to brainstorm, someone is always ready to assist, says Director Søren Ballisager.

What you will be doing:

Enhance project management standards and apply your mechanical expertise to drive engineering projects in a global technology department

You will manage projects and stakeholders, planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects related to in-house production equipment like spinners, chambers, and ovens. These are critical steps in the production process, impacting efficiency and quality. Projects vary in size and scope and are often part of larger initiatives. You will collaborate with colleagues from various departments across the globe.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring technical solutions meet project specifications and quality standards
  • Participating in sourcing and contracting processes, following up with suppliers
  • Identifying and mitigating risks related to sourcing and project completion

While based in Poznań, Poland, you will travel mainly within Europe, with potential trips to North America and Asia to visit suppliers and oversee equipment implementation, up to 80 days per year.

What you bring:

You have at least 5 years of project management experience related to production equipment, including budgeting and scheduling. You hold an engineering degree with a strong background in mechanical engineering. You possess technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.

You are capable of inspiring and motivating your team, managing stakeholder concerns, and ensuring projects meet high standards. You navigate international project environments with ease, taking responsibility for scope, processes, and deliverables.

Moreover, you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience managing projects involving production equipment
  • Hold a degree in engineering, preferably mechanical
  • Possess profound technical understanding
  • Are fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous

What we offer:

Joining our team means becoming part of a people-centric Danish company. We offer a competitive salary, a permanent contract after probation, development opportunities, team-building events, and an activity-based office in Poznań’s Nowy Rynek, with modern facilities and amenities.

Our employment package includes:

  • Office-based work with up to 2 days of home office per week
  • Home office subsidy
  • Private Medical Care
  • Modern office space with views, bicycle parking, showers, chill-out rooms, and recreational facilities
