We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a key client based in Poland.
- Manages the full project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, scope and quality
- Implements project controls and monitors milestones and deliverables
- Identifies and handles risks, issues and scope changes
- Coordinates with the Project Board and key stakeholders
- Assigns tasks, manages priorities and supports the project team
- Ensures effective communication within the project and with external stakeholders
- Produces core project management documents and delivers reports and presentations
Requirements (ALL MANDATORY):
Education
- 8+ years of experience in the field
- 5+ years in a similar role
Certifications
At least 1 valid certification among:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- PM2 Advanced
- or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
Knowledge and skills
- Experience in leading at least 1 medium-large ICT project as a project manager
- Knowledge and experience in applying project management methodologies and methods
- Knowledge and experience in applying Agile methodologies
- Possesses a thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs
- Is conversant with current technologies and trends
- Presents excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written material and presentations for a variety of audiences
- Aligns his work easily to the changing environment, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeks improvements and proactively looks to further improvements
Specific requirements
- Has knowledge/experience in the area of Data Privacy, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Business Continuity, and Information Security Risk Assessment in the environment of EU Institutions, understands its challenges and methods for conducting effective analysis/assessment in those areas
- Has excellent conflict management and resolution skills
- Has experience working for/at the public sector, preferably in International organisations or EU Institutions
Language
- English at C1 level, with certification or availability to obtain one soon
Location
- Near-site position, within a maximum of 2h by car from Warsaw, Poland.
