Overview

Lead and deliver advanced satellite communication projects across both commercial and defense markets. This position combines project management skills with close user/customer collaboration, ideal for those effective at managing complex technical initiatives and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1-3 projects simultaneously, from planning through implementation, with budgets ranging from €1M to over €10M.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams including RF, hardware, software, mechanical engineering, and QA/PA engineers.
• Prepare project documentation and report project status.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring deliverables meet user requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of their needs and expectations (incl. European Space Agency).
• Monitor project progress in accordance with agreements, schedules, budgets and scope changes while maintaining project profitability.

Qualifications

• Preferably technical higher education (engineering, computer science, or related fields).
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in technical or space sectors.
• Experience with compliance projects/programs where international standards and laws are one of the requirements (incl ECSS).
• Proven experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and budgets in space industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with corporate and government clients.
• Preferred experience in both commercial and defense/security sectors.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent proficiency in English (verbal and written communication, documentation preparation and presentations).
• Optional: 1. Background in space industry, 2. Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, Agile, 3. Knowledge of task management programs (Redmine, JIRA, Confluence).
• Two cities to work in: Warszawa and Wrocław.
