Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join projects at one of the largest financial institutions in the world. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of technology projects and ensuring benefits realization. Your experience will support global, international projects in various business areas.
Your role:
- Managing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments, and changes.
- Supporting Cross-Functional Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, and budget.
- Working with the Technology teams and Product Owners to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management and maturity in the use of Agile methodologies.
- Providing management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns with wider program objectives and the change portfolio across the company.
- Managing, monitoring, and reporting progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to the program management and internal stakeholders.
- Making recommendations to influence decision-making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
- Assisting in strategizing a better partner test environment by leveraging people and technology.
- Establishing effective governance and controls, in line with the Business Transformation Framework, and coordinating cross-technology teams and cross-Global Business/Global Functions delivery.
Your skills:
- Having a minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Prior working experience in the banking sector.
- Excellent planning skills.
- Experience in task and financial tracking.
- Strong experience with risk identification, tracking, and mitigation.
- Managing issues, escalating them, and reporting progress status to stakeholders.
- Understanding technical discussions and translating them into business/common English terms.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to adjust in a rapidly changing environment and prioritize activities while setting the right expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of test and test automation is a plus.
- Willingness to visit Krakow up to three times a month.
