Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Program Manager to serve as the connective tissue between our strategic implementation partner, regional PMs, internal key stakeholders, and the change management team. This role is not responsible for defining strategy, but is critical in ensuring flawless execution, clear communication, and timely reporting across all workstreams. The Program Manager will be accountable for tracking progress, risks, and issues, consolidating updates, and ensuring resource onboarding and adoption activities are closely aligned with change management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between the strategic implementation partner, regional project managers, and the change management team.
- Track detailed execution activities, capturing progress, risks, issues, and dependencies across all workstreams.
- Consolidate and summarize status updates for the overall program, tailoring communication for different audiences (detailed for working teams, concise and strategic for executive stakeholders).
- Collaborate with change management to ensure traceability of execution activities to change plans, supporting adoption and business readiness.
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues, driving resolution and mitigation.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and focus on priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise written and verbal communications to stakeholders at all levels in a timely manner.
- Support program reporting and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Critical Skills & Qualifications:
- Project Coordination & Tracking: Demonstrated experience in complex, multi-team program environments; able to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to facilitate meetings and work effectively across organizational boundaries, including external vendors and geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to synthesize information and present recommendations back to cross-functional audiences. - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor messaging for different audiences (detailed for project teams, executive summaries for leadership).
Ability to convey messages in a crisp and succinct manner. - Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness in tracking and reporting.
- Sense of Urgency: Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks and driving timely outcomes.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and risks, with a track record of collaborating with core team members and driving resolution / follow-through.
- Change Management Awareness: Understanding of change management principles and experience supporting adoption activities in large-scale programs.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Teams).
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority.
