Specific Requirements
- meeting the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended);
- professor in the field of Social Sciences, in the field of social sciences, specializing in the discipline of security studies;
- documented record of scientific and publication achievements in Polish and English within the discipline of security studies (including articles in indexed journals and publications, with at least two articles in journals from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s list scoring a minimum of 100 points, published in the last three years);
- at least 15 years of research and teaching experience at higher education institutions;
- at least 10 years of professional experience to representing Polish in international organizations, especially in the NATO Science and Technology Organization;
- teaching experience enabling the delivery of courses in Logistics, Economic Logistics and National Defence;
- advanced knowledge in the fields of military security, logistics, acquisition of military systems and systems engineering;
- experience in administrative and organizational work related to the education process at a higher education institution;
- experience in administrative and organizational work related to functioning of a scientific discipline at a higher education institution;
- experience in research activities conducted in both national and international settings;
- strong analytical thinking skills, teamwork ability, and availability;
- willingness to actively participate in research projects;
- proficiency in English at a minimum STANAG Level 2 or equivalent;
- completion of occupational health and safety training;
- familiarity with distance learning systems (e.g., MS Teams);
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Expected responsibilities:
- conducting scientific research and applying for external funding to support research projects;
- publishing research findings in high-impact journals and scientific publications listed in the current register of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
- participating in scientific conferences, symposia and seminars;
- educating and mentoring undergraduate students including delivering lectures, exercises and seminars, and providing consultations in both Polish and English;
- teaching, conducting exercises, seminars and consultation in both Polish and English for PhD studies (doctoral school), postgraduate studies, courses and training programs;
- engaging in activities aimed at supporting the research and teaching process;
- actively contributing to initiatives to develop the scientific and educational infrastructure of the Military University of Technology;
- participating in diploma seminars and in the graduation procedures for students;
- performing tasks assigned by the supervisors, related to the held position.
