Production Technologist Assembly

Due to development of our client, an international company in the automotive / new technologies industry with an established market position, we are looking for people for the position of Production Technologist Assembly.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing efficient production processes for the final assembly of infotainment systems and telematic control units. You39ll act as a bridge between product development and production, ensuring manufacturability (DfE - Design for Excellence) and overseeing the entire process from concept to implementation.
What You39ll Do:

• Develop and implement production processes for pre-series and series production of infotainment systems and telematic control units.
• Determine, document, and evaluate production process requirements.
• Design production process concepts with DfE principles in mind, specifying the necessary equipment and tooling.
• Realize these concepts by implementing the production processes at the manufacturing sites.
• Support production sites in troubleshooting and optimizing existing processes.
• Coordinate closely with various teams (internal and external) to manage work packages within production process development projects.

You39ll Be Responsible For:

• An engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, production technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in development, assembly, technology management, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, CAD software, and ERP systems.
• Prior experience developing and implementing production strategies and concepts for the mechanical assembly of electrical devices, preferably in the automotive sector.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• A willingness to travel, including international assignments.

We39re Looking for Someone With:

• Hybrid working model: 2-3 from the office, others from home 
• Contract of Employment via Hays
• Working hours: 9.00 - 17.00 or 8.00 - 16.00
