We are looking for skilled individuals for the Global Payments Solution Team. Team is responsible for technical stability and systems lifecycle for a lot of Tier0 and Tier1 payments systems. GPS Team (Global Payments Solution) consists of many smaller subteams with around 5-10 people each. Each of them handles different technology and systems responsible for unique step in global payment flow. Team work in mission critical environment across a breadth of technologies from vendor products to in-house developed micro services.

responsibilities :
Providing full scope of the day to day Production Support - troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime and impact on business operations
Provide technical support to end users, addressing queries and resolving issues related to production applications
Document and manage incidents using ticketing systems, ensuring thorough tracking and resolution of issues
Work closely with development team to address bugs, implement fixes and perform root cause analysis
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance system efficiency & reliability
Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for critical production issues/changes during weekends
Report and investigate alerts related to payments using SQL/Splunk, while maintaining the SLAs
Assist with the deployment of new applications, updates and patches to production environments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal impact on users/operation
requirements-expected :
Experience in SQL and PL/SQL
Knowledge of Kubernetes
Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and components
Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation purposes
Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning
Understanding of security best practices
Understanding of the payment processing lifecycle and protocols
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
