A rare opportunity has come up for an experienced and talented Product Support Engineer to join an ambitious and experienced team within a great product, Scandinavian company!

You will be the contact point for customers, receiving their inquiries, analyzing, and reproducing issues, passing them on further, and maintaining contact with the customer along the way. As an engineer, this position will partner with the Product Support Team Leader to deliver exceptional support to the company’s customers and partners.

You will also work on in-house Product Experience department projects aimed at providing a better support experience for customers, partners, and our employees.

YOUR ROLE

1. Taking ownership of issues reported by customers and partners
2. Reproducing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems
3. Solving customer issues or escalating them as needed
4. Interfacing between customer and other company’s teams
5. Supporting customer in applying required fixes
6. Collaborating with the team on in-house projects

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO

1. Has 5 years of experience in the development of commercial-grade web-based software applications using PHP
2. Gained hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bash
3. Is well-familiar with OOP, SOLID programming principles, and testing tools (Selenium, Behat, WebDriver, XDebug, PHPUnit)
4. Has a firm grasp of source code management (Git and GitHub, including making pull requests and patching with git or diff)
5. Feels comfortable working with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) and containerization (Docker)
6. Has deep competence in profiling and troubleshooting (Firebug, Web Inspector; preferably also Blackfire.io)
7. Gained comprehensive understanding of PHP frameworks (Symfony)
