Metrosoft offers solutions allowing asset managers and service providers to transition all aspects of shareholder services and distribution to the digital service economy. Fundsphere supports an entire digital investor journey from onboarding, through ongoing support and maintenance, to trading and reporting. Real-time KYC, list screening, and transaction monitoring ensure effective oversight and control of risks. Fundsphere, trusted by global asset managers and service providers, is now also available as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

This role will allow you to work with some of the largest global financial institutions in order to deliver solutions based on our Fundsphere platform. Your challenge will be to bring value to the client without compromising the functional and architectural integrity of Fundsphere. You will have true influence on changing the global investment fund industry.

This role is for you if you have / are

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in designing software solutions addressing business needs, preferably for the financial industry.
• Strong ability to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and design software solutions.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering value through designed solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between clients and development teams.
• Skilled in navigating ambiguity in business settings.
• Experienced in leading client initiatives, workshops, and collaborative engagements.
• Solid understanding of technology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and web application design.
• Able to work independently as an individual contributor, while thriving in a team environment.
• Adaptable to change with resilience and a growth mindset.
• Assertive, making fact-driven decisions confidently.
• Skilled in facilitating meetings and preventing participants from derailing discussions.
• Expertise in creating process flows using BPMN and UML modeling.
• Strong data competency: well-versed in data structures, databases, and SQL.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, capable of producing clear, precise design documentation.
• Knowledge of the Fund Industry, KYC, AML/CTF processes, or financial services (a strong plus but not mandatory).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Capture and analyze business requirements; translate them into clear epics and user stories.
• Propose optimal solutions that balance client needs, technological constraints, and industry standards.
• Challenge and refine requirements to build scalable, out-of-the-box solutions rather than custom single-client designs.
• Synthesize insights from multiple sources to create the best possible product design.
• Take full ownership of the design process, making data-driven, decisive choices.
• Collaborate with system architects, project managers, developers, product owners, and other key stakeholders.
• Navigate resistance within the development team, using influence, negotiation, and compromise to achieve the best product outcome.
• Establish and maintain a solution design framework that enables the team to contribute effectively within their areas of responsibility.
