Product Sales Manager, Field Services (m/f/x)
We are looking for a Product Sales Manager, Field Services (m/f/x) to join our CEN Board, Paper and Tissue Solutions (BTS) team. You will be responsible for increasing customer satisfaction in the board, paper, and tissue industry through promotion and targeted sales of the Valmet Field Service Portfolio (FSE) in the Central and Northern Europe (CEN) market area, mainly Eastern Europe.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Increasing sales volume, profitability, and market share within the BTS FSE area of responsibility.
- Supporting sales of improvement projects (IPP) by recognizing customer needs to optimize processes and systems.
- Understanding customer needs for machinery service and process improvement in the industry through field and expert services.
- Proposing the best economical and technical solutions for customer needs.
- Responding proactively and promptly to customer inquiries in line with their purchasing process.
- Managing sales and budget responsibilities (volume and profitability) within the Field Service offering.
- Defining service sales scope based on customer needs.
- Organizing and leading Field Service sales cases, involving relevant stakeholders and digitalization efforts.
- Keeping mill teams and stakeholders informed to ensure sales success.
- Driving positive market share development for designated offerings.
- Incorporating customer feedback into product development processes.
- Utilizing Valmets CRM system to track leads, quotations, and installed base information.
- Monitoring competitors activities.
Required competencies include:
- Relevant education: M.Sc. (Eng.), B.Sc. (Eng.), B.B.A., or equivalent in process or engineering.
- Good knowledge of Valmet offerings and understanding of customer processes and business.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop sales strategies.
- Commitment, flexibility, and a practical approach to work.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to enhance internal networks.
- Focus on safety and environmental considerations.
- Proactive attitude and development orientation.
- An open-minded, solution-oriented personality.
