We are currently looking for a Product Owner with advanced German language skills (at least B2/C1) who will be responsible for managing the backlog, requirements engineering, and product development for our clients in the DACH region. We expect hands-on experience in product and project management within IT, as well as creativity in proposing innovative solutions and development opportunities. We are looking for someone who can join us at the beginning or mid-October.

As a Product Owner , you will be a key member of the Product Management and Discovery team at VM.PL Software House. Your role will focus on managing the product backlog, analyzing requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand and meet their business objectives. You will be responsible not only for planning but also for proposing product improvements and coordinating work around them. We seek a proactive individual who will strive to deliver business value to our clients and continuously seek ways to enhance their projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing the product backlog for clients in the DACH region
• Gathering and analyzing requirements, translating them into specific product features
• Proactively proposing new solutions and product development for clients
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and goals
• Coordinating the work of development teams and managing task prioritization
• Leading workshops and meetings with stakeholders to develop product strategies
• Creating product documentation and reports to support communication with clients
• Daily work in German

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in IT product management
• Practical knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Experience in backlog management and task prioritization
• Expertise in requirements engineering and client collaboration
• Business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira (or similar)
• Excellent German language skills at a minimum of B2 level (C1/C2 or native preferred)
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business (DACH region)
• Driving license category B2

3. Meeting with the Head of Product Management and Discovery

   At this stage you will meet Wojtek, who is responsible for the Product Management and Discovery department in VM.PL.

Salary: 14,000 - 16,000 PLN Gross (Employment Contract)
