responsibilities :
Product ownership of an analytical tool — Managing the backlog, defining requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria (Jira), and executing the roadmap for a pay equity and pay gap analysis application used by enterprise clients
Translating statistics into product — Converting complex regression model outputs and statistical analyses into intuitive user interfaces and clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical users
Collaboration with engineering team and stakeholders — Day-to-day work with an opinionated engineering team (Iceland), designers, and data scientists, as well as with external clients and stakeholders in a SaaS environment
requirements-expected :
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Owner, with a proven track record of defining product requirements and delivering a product roadmap within an engineering team
Applied, practical experience in statistics and statistical modelling — hands-on use of regression models in day-to-day work
(academic-only knowledge without active practice is not sufficient)
Understanding of regression analysis — multivariate regression modelling, its core assumptions, typical tests, and the statistics behind coefficients and significance
Strong assertiveness and ability to lead by influence — experience working with opinionated, technically strong teams; ability to hold your ground in technical discussions
Ability to simplify and communicate complex analytical outputs to non-technical audiences in a clear, visual, and actionable way; experience in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing role
