Purpose

This role is responsible for the product to be developed in line with customer requirements while maximizing business value, particularly for understanding and analyzing customer requirements and use cases for connectivity solutions such as Remote Subscription Platform (RSP) solutions for the Machine to Machine (M2M) ecosystem, and for defining the requirements for such solutions.

This position requires working closely with the development team, to drive the more detailed specifications and the development of the connectivity solutions.

The Product Owner will also support the pre-sales team during the specification phase to ensure a good understanding of customer expectations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technically defining and influencing the evolution of our solutions .

The first main objective of the Product Owner will be to drive the M2M product roadmap and in parallel coordinate a complete product handover to the support team.

He/She will then be involved in managing the UI and Quicksight reporting tools for all products within the Connectivity business unit - which after the M2M handover will become the Product Owners main duty.

Key Missions

1. Analyzes and documents product requirements by connecting with stakeholders
2. Defines and updates the product backlog, including acceptance criteria to ensure requirement coverage and traceability
3. Leads the progress of the product development against scope, timeline, budgets, quality standards and regulatory constraints
4. Conducts risk analysis and monitors the mitigation plan
5. Provides vision and direction to all stakeholders including technical teams and internal or external customers and partners
6. Ensures proper communication and reporting to all stakeholders
7. Supports business teams as needed in offers’ preparation, demonstrations, products presentations, etc.
8. Negotiates and convinces stakeholders in total autonomy

Profile & Other Information

To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills / experience:

1. At least 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry or in a professional services organization with experience as Product Owner, ideally for the RSP M2M ecosystem
2. Demonstrated experience in developing server-based products, either for the automotive industry or for Mobile Network Operators. Experience with over-the-air solutions managing SIM cards is desired
3. Must have experience in successfully working with cross-functional teams that include development, sales, and marketing staff
4. Ability to effectively interface with customers and work independently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
5. BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
6. Fluent in English (excellent verbal and written skills), other languages a plus
