PwC Poland’s Digital & Application Development team comprises 130 people. We are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. The number of tasks we undertake is extensive: from design, building and implementation, through preparation of functional specifications and analysis of data in source systems, to the definition of business requirements, support in testing and development of mobile applications. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.

Currently we are looking for:

IT Product Owner

As our team member you will have a unique opportunity to test your skills in delivering state-of-the-art products to worldwide clients from various industries such as Financial Services (Banking & Insurance), Retail, FMCG, Oil & Gas and others.

We aim in delivering end-to-end solutions by collaborating heavily with Business Experts from other teams in PwC (Strategy & Operations, Financial Services, Digital Transformation, etc.), Developers and professionals from IT. Our team employs specialists covering the whole software development lifecycle incl. Architects, Analysts, Developers, QAs, Scrum Masters with various backgrounds (computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering and economy) and degree of seniority (from juniors with 1-2 years of experience to country leaders with over 10+ on the market).

Your future role:

1. Acting as a product owner for one or more IT products
2. Defining a product vision that would bring the greatest value to the customer
3. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements
4. Identifying solutions based on proven best practices or new approaches
5. Creating a product development roadmap
6. Prioritization of tasks and managing product backlog
7. Product development and optimization of its value using Scrum framework
8. Tracking and monitoring the product progress at each stage of the development
9. Representing a team in front of stakeholders, clients or users

Apply if you:

1. Have at least 5 years professional experience in the role of Product Owner and work with Product Backlog
2. Demonstrate deep knowledge and practical experience in working in SCRUM
3. Understand IT development process and systems architecture
4. Possess higher degree (preferred Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Operational Research or related)
5. Have very good communication skills in English (C1)
6. Exercise strong interpersonal and soft skills - essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team
7. Are positive about cooperation and group work on the implementation of tasks in an international environment

Nice to have:

1. Product Management certification
2. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
3. Interesting and ambitious projects - no routine or repeatability of activities
4. Possibility to take part in international projects
5. Occasionally work remotely
6. Excellent work atmosphere, including team events, hackathons
7. Work atmosphere as close as possible to a startup within a large corporation
