A European-based engineering team is seeking a product owner to help build the best platform for discourse and debate on the news of the day. Our small, nimble team is looking for another team player who knows Agile processes, writes excellent tickets, communicates effectively - and also knows when to throw process out the window and just get stuff done ASAP.
responsibilities :
Serve as a full-time product owner for an engineering-lead social media company
Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders and research new product ideas
Write & groom tickets, and work with stakeholders to refine them
Participate in handoffs, reviews, and demos
Work collaboratively with engineers to manage and improve product process
Work collaboratively with design to adhere to brand guidelines for new products
See projects through to completion and actively monitor their progress along the way
requirements-expected :
Minimum 5 years in a product role working on a consumer-facing product
5+ years’ experience with task management tools like ClickUp, Jira etc
Fluent English
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with organizations that operate on frequent, rapid cycles
Must be available full-time (minimum 40 hours/week)
Must be available to work some U.S. hours (until ~1900 CET some days)
Must be available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed or required
