To further strengthen our fast-growing Global IT Land & Digital Solutions team, we search a highly motivated Product Owner who acts as owner of a dedicated digital product, process manager, coordinator, and intermediary between our customers and stakeholders like corporate/regional Product Managements (Land, Air, Ocean and Contract Logistics) and IT.
You will be responsible for shaping end-to-end the digital product in a minimum viable product fashion and thereby taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and rollout of digital products being afterwards offered in our digital portfolio. This is being ensured by an agile team setup with adequate tools in order to maximize the products outcome and to deliver the right iterative minimum viable products. This implies the provision of effective leadership to the product team and development of people in the right way. responsibilities :
Subject matter expert on GILDS / MCE Division global digital solutions offerings including expertise for B2C marked-facing Benchmarking and knowledge of (user) target group
Lead interdisciplinary team of UIUX Designers, Digital Experience Specialists (Web Analytics) and Data Scientists
Coordinate & steer different areas of responsibility to improve User Experience for product portfolio: User Interface Design, BI Reporting for platform, Web-analytic reporting, Customer feedback analysis
Understand Big Picture and develop overarching concepts to develop market-facing platforms with multiple product teams
Drive proactively harmonization of platform and products
Creation of overall customer journeys (including market research, feasibility studies / pilots / prototyping)
Consult and align with internal business and IT partners on the GILDS product portfolio to exchange knowledge, identity new project opportunities and establish a strategic plan for customer experience for overall products
Provide digital solutions portfolio knowledge to optimize customer interactions with Schenker via multiple channels and drive internal global collaboration
Consult/Support in demand & solution management and support & test management actions and documentation from UX perspective
Communication management with all involved parties and stakeholders
Analyze and evaluate business requirements and review of options with customers, business units, and end users to ensure best approach
Compile and elaborate functional and non-functional requirements
Document and communicate all open issues or open questions about business processes or procedures to the team
requirements-expected :
Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Ownership with clear focus on User Experience and/or Digital Experience related specification
Process or workflow modeling tool experience
Strong business, system and customer service orientation
Good understanding of project and application life cycles and work in an agile delivery model
Good knowledge of formalized methods for specification (e.g. Use Case Modelling, Data Modelling, Interfaces)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups and functions
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
Customer and service orientation
Experience in identifying process improvements, customer experience improvements and coordinating their implementation
International experience in customer projects
Understanding of business and IT processes, as well as strong stakeholder management
Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment

Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
