Responsibilities:

Providing regular updates and status reports on the progress of their respective Pods.
Ensure that customer needs are understood and efficiently addressed, with appropriate governance.
Engage and collaborate with the Global Businesses, Global Functions, Operations colleagues and Risk Stewards, to ensure their requirements are met by the respective Pod.
Work closely with Developers to ensure requirements are understood and that technical developments meet expectations and are delivered in a timely manner.
Design and embed appropriate governance to drive end to end change and development processes to deliver enhancements.
Lead and be accountable for impact assessment activities and customers’ user experience.
Design, produce and present Management Information e.g. KPIs & Status Updates.
Ensure issues and potential issues are identified in a timely manner and addressed appropriately.
Understand the business/technical requirements, evaluate potential solutions and deliver technical recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

Strong organisational skills and technical acumen.
Have a positive and professional attitude, team player, flexible and adaptable, embraces change.
Ability to translate difficult technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Strong understanding and experience of applications design and architecture.
Strong understanding and experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on data management and data privacy.
Strong team leader with ability to manage multiple technical / business teams.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of this global organisation.
Experience of being accountable for product and service delivery in a complex organisation.

Additional skills in these areas would be an advantage:

Very strong background in data management; particularly in data modelling, architecture, analytics design, reporting and governance.
Background in programming techniques desirable, to demonstrate ability to methodically resolve business problems.
