This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, and you will join our Platform Engineering Products area. The area is one of two Product areas that oversee setting the right direction for our products in close collaboration with customers, architects and delivery domains.
The Product Manager position for Cloud & Platform Engineering offers a unique opportunity for joining a product area where we over the coming years are looking into a bigger tech transformation. This area is one of the key drivers for ensuring that BEC increases efficiency in our development teams across BEC.
As Product Manager for this area, you will drive the tech agenda for Platform Products and Software tooling products in a direction that will help the internal customers of these products to have a solid and improved foundation and platform for succeeding with their goals.
In BEC we are working to become more Product centric in the way we provide value to our customers. As a Product Manager in Cloud and Platform Engineering, you will take up a key role in this transformation and you will be leading this change in your team. You will lead the Product portfolio and a team of six highly skilled Product Owners who will help you succeeding every day; three are located in Roskilde, Denmark and three are located in Warsaw, Poland. To ensure good collaboration and leadership, you will be expected to travel to Denmark when needed and at least 6 times per year.
You will be working closely together with both internal BEC customers and external customers to set the right direction for your products and to be able to execute on the roadmap created. You will also have a close collaboration with the delivery-domains, especially the platform-domain Software & Quality Engineering, that are responsible for executing the development plans.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days per month. Your direct manager will be Casper Korsholm Baadsgaard Hansen.
