Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs and define what solutions to build.
- Creating stakeholder consensus and developing a vision for the required data & analytics solutions.
- Documenting business requirements and translating them into a data & analytics backlog.
- Leading a data & analytics squad and planning the work to be delivered leveraging agile (Scrum).
- Utilizing deep functional expertise of a business domain to drive decisions during the development.
- Acting as a bridge between the business and data & analytics by being intimately involved in the design, testing and implementation of solutions.
- Identifying new opportunities to add value in a business domain by leveraging data & analytics.
- Educating and evangelizing to their business stakeholders what data & analytics can do for them.
- Measuring business impact and sharing success stories of the data & analytics solutions.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data & analytics solutions.
- At minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- The ability to quickly understand different business domains and an overall good business acumen.
- A high-level understanding of data & analytics (e.g., business intelligence, data engineering, data science).
- Good stakeholder management skills (e.g., expectation management, persuasion, saying no).
- Ability to articulate requirements to technical stakeholders.
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating a team or contractors.
- Natural curiosity to create novel business solutions.
