Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the worlds information. Were responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
The Platform and Devices Infrastructure and Operations team’s mission is to make Android and Chrome easy to change, hard to break, and ship efficiently.
In this role, you will be responsible for Android and Chromes build, test, and release infrastructure, processes, and staff. You will cover Android, Chrome Browser, ChromeOS, and assist many other software projects and teams. You will build automation, tools, and systems to enable engineering productivity, while ensuring the quality of the products we ship to our users remains high. You will enable the Android, Chrome Browser and ChromeOS teams to work outside of Google’s standard infrastructure with external contributors and partners, and help empower an ecosystem of collaboration both within Google, and externally.
