As a Product Line Engineer , you will be responsible for leading the creation, issuance, review, and publication of detailed engineering designs for BB (Between Bearings) pumps. This includes developing Bills of Materials, drawings, and supporting the global organization to sell and manufacture the product. The Product Line Engineer will also conduct thorough analyses of pump integrity using advanced engineering methods, such as finite element analysis (FEA) and modal analysis, to ensure the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the product line.

Main Responsibilities:

• Determine the feasibility of BB pump designs for specific project requirements through engineering analysis and propose new designs or modifications to existing designs.
• Create and manage bill of materials (BOM) for bare shaft pumps based on project specifications.
• Develop engineering drawings for the product line, including pump models, sectional drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
• Review and verify that all items in the bill of materials have the correct drawing numbers and revisions.
• Address and resolve questions from the field and shop floor.
• Take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, ensuring its success from design through to completion.

Qualifications & Required Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• 3-10 years of experience, ideally at the Plain level.
• Rotating equipment experience is desired.
• Availability to travel up to 10% of the time, mainly in Europe.
• Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
• Experience in pump design, calculation, BOM, and creating drawings for pumps or parts.
• Knowledge about API 610.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D designing tools; Inventor is preferred.
• Experience with Structural Analysis (FEA) and modal analysis.
