Overview
Product Development Engineer – Hardware to join our engineering team supporting the new BMS project. The role focuses on driving hardware development from concept to production with emphasis on documentation, PCB design coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is located in our office in Cracow.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of technical documentation throughout the product development process.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage and coordinate printed circuit board (PCB) design activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Provide engineering support to the PTL in technical decision-making, issue resolution, and project execution.
- Assist in preparing the product for mass production, including validation, testing, and transfer to manufacturing.
- Participate in and approve key milestones and design stages, ensuring quality and adherence to engineering standards.
Requirements
- Strong background in electronics engineering and experience in product lifecycle management (Battery Architecture experience is a plus).
- Proven experience in PCB development, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools and processes (LTSpice, PSpice, Altium Designer).
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and production readiness requirements.
- Understanding of communication interfaces (CAN, UART), isolation requirements, power integrity requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance in hardware development.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and international team environment.
- Proficiency in English.
