As a Design System Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing and evolving Watson , our design system, to deliver consistent, scalable, and accessible design solutions across our product ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to define the future of our design system, ensuring it empowers teams to build outstanding, inclusive, and user-centered experiences efficiently.

In this role, you will lead a team of two talented designers, driving their professional growth and aligning their work with the vision and standards of Watson. You’ll also remain hands-on—contributing directly in Figma, owning critical system components, and setting the standard for excellence in design systems and accessibility practices.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about systems thinking, accessibility, and fostering collaboration across design, engineering, and product teams.

We are looking for a Design System Manager to:

• Own and evolve Watson , ensuring it is scalable, accessible, and flexible for all product teams.
• Lead and manage a team of two designers , providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
• Oversee the maintenance and growth of Watson’s component libraries, documentation, and design tokens.
• Ensure accessibility standards are embedded into every aspect of the design system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the design system with business goals.
• Facilitate adoption and education by creating resources and hosting workshops.
• Drive design system innovation , exploring new tools and techniques.
• Maintain and optimize the Figma structure and workflows .
• Create and monitor metrics and feedback loops to measure the effectiveness of the design system.

What you should have:

• A portfolio showcasing design systems you have created or significantly contributed to.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a small team of designers.
• Deep expertise with Figma and design system management tools.
• A strategic mindset focused on design scalability and operational efficiency.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills .
• A solid understanding of systems thinking and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with data-informed decision-making.
• 6+ years of experience in interaction design.

A salary adequate to your experience and skills. For B2B contract: between 17.000 and 28.500 PLN net monthly.
