For our client from the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced leader to take on a key role within product risk management and Generative AI assurance. The role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for building and leading a specialised team focused on testing and assurance of control frameworks related to products and Gen AI solutions. The role operates within the first line of defence and works closely with business stakeholders, risk and compliance functions to support the organisation in developing mature, effective risk management practices.

About you

You are a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in non-financial risk management. You are comfortable operating in a complex, regulated environment and enjoy building high-performing teams that work closely with the business.

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional background.
• 10+ years of experience in non-financial risk management, controls, testing, or assurance, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products, processes, and business operations, with the ability to balance risk management and business objectives.
• Experience working with or overseeing risks related to digital products and/or Generative AI solutions.
• Proven ability to identify risk drivers, trends, and implement process improvements.
• Confident, decisive leadership style with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions and organisational levels.
• A role model for accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
