Producer – Concept Art

Job Description

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Producer to support our Concept Art team in the development of a new IP. Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of world‑class artists, designers, and developers to help shape the visual foundation of a brand‑new universe. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Producer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of concept art production across characters, environments, and key visual storytelling moments. This role requires exceptional cross‑disciplinary communication skills, deep familiarity with art production pipelines, and the ability to align creative vision with project milestones and studio goals. As a member of the production department, you’ll be focused on enabling our artists to do their best work – creating clear schedules, tracking creative output, and ensuring the team delivers high‑quality concept art assets on time and at studio standards. You will work closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and Production leadership to maintain momentum and clarity through all stages of pre‑production and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Art Director, Creative Director, and Production leadership to define, plan, and manage the overall concept art production roadmap.
  • Translate the game’s creative vision into structured deliverables and milestones for the concept art team.
  • Coordinate with cross‑disciplinary leads (Design, Narrative, Environment, Character, and Legal) to ensure alignment and timely asset delivery.
  • Oversee daily and long‑term scheduling, track task progress, and ensure high‑quality standards are met within established timelines.
  • Manage workload distribution and resource planning across the concept art team and external vendors.
  • Facilitate reviews and feedback loops between the Concept Art team and other stakeholders to maintain creative consistency and clarity.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to art production scope, dependencies, or scheduling.
  • Support clear communication between internal art teams and outsourced partners.
  • Encourage a positive, collaborative, and inclusive creative culture that values artistic growth and innovation.
  • Provide regular updates on production progress, priorities, and risks to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production or project management experience in games, film, animation, or other creative industries.
  • Strong understanding of concept art pipelines, from ideation to delivery, including asset reviews, iteration, and integration.
  • Experience supporting art teams in a fast‑paced AAA development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between creative and technical disciplines.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience creating, tracking, and updating detailed production schedules.
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence, ShotGrid, or equivalent project management tools.
  • Collaborative mindset and passion for empowering artists and creative problem‑solving.
  • Keen eye for visual quality and appreciation for diverse artistic styles and storytelling approaches.
  • Ability to provide structure without stifling creativity.

Bonus Points

  • Experience coordinating with outsourced art partners or external vendors.
  • Familiarity with 3D tools and workflows (Maya, ZBrush, Blender, etc.) and digital art software (Photoshop, Procreate, etc.).
  • Experience in early‑stage IP development or worldbuilding for AAA games or entertainment franchises.
  • Personal passion for visual storytelling, concept design, and game art.
